Duty of Care Legislation

Did you know that company directors can now be prosecuted if a member of staff has an accident whilst on company business in their own car or van?

This means your company needs to have procedures in place to ensure employees using their own vehicles are licensed to drive, have adequate insurance and the vehicle is properly maintained.  For many companies that have relinquished company cars this will place a significant additional administrative burden on them.
